Reading Marks Daily Apple, I am getting a little more in depth on what I can do to prepare for my 21 day challenge.
Now that I am injured, things are really discouraging. My physical activity is at a stand-still. Staying on track with diet is hard when my sleep, excercise and medication routine is abnormal. I have to eat every four hours so I can take pills, I was also advised to eat yogurt to ease my stomache and regulate acidofolus and pro-biotics to balance my Ph levels. As a woman, this is important for reproductive and menstral health.
A solution I have found is Probiotic pills. But I still would rather nibble on a few crackers than eat raw veggies or meat when I am in search of tummy ease. This is a problem when I am phasing out grains, but so far I have kept it to a minimal.
This road to recovery has ended up being longer than expected. After the 10th day, infection took over my healing process and I am now on rounds of anti-biotic treatments. This is a perfect example of why this journey is so necessary. A strong healthy body is less inflicted to injury and illness. I am forced to be injected with antibodies that I dont agree with. Immunities my body is not strong enough to fight, and should be. I denied the antibiotics in the initial injury stage to attempt to win the fight on my own. A battle in which I have lost. I was treated for MRSA/staff infection, with negative lab results this is a relief to be merely a precaution.
With this being said, I don't even eat meat that has been treated with anti-biotics! So to say the least I am unhappy about many aspects of this injury. Not to mention I am physically getting weaker everyday that I don't work, exercise and train.
Rest, positive thoughts, following doctors orders and cooperation is my journey this week with a desination of full repair and recovery.
It's all part of my Journey...
