My Primal Journey
This is my journey. This is my story. The documentation here is about my personal quest for primal health, optimum performance and a healthy balanced life. There is always room for improvements, there is always a new way to grow and more self to discover so hopefully this will inspire others and myself to continue the challenge.

Toasted Mushroom Bun...brillant
Im sure I am not the only one to think of this but it was awesome. I saw some huge Portobello mushrooms at Central Market and at first glace it looked like a whole wheat hamberger bun. (Thats how big they really were)
I just toasted a few minutes under broil setting and paired with organic, grass fed beef burger with homemade ketchup and tons of pickles, lettuce and spicey organic mustard. This was so good. One of my favorites. I even used the mushrooms to make eggs benedic the following weekend. Oh and those are baked sweet potatoe fries with sea salt and olive oil.

Natural Cold Remedies
Also, using Oil of Oregano is very helpful. I get chronic sinusitis/sinus infections everytime I get a cold or allergies. I used three doses a day at the height of my cold and was able to combate another sinus infection. Just be careful and follow directions. Herbs can be just as harmful as over the counter stuff if used to often or incorrectly. More on this at http://www.naturalnews.com/030833_oil_of_Oregano_cancer.html
Saturday Morning Breakfast with Bob Marley
This is my twist on cornbeef hash, inspired by my friend Bob Marley and some late winter sunshine on da beach yesterday morning.
I used left-over spicey mustard cornbeef roast that I shredded and baked with sweet potatoes. Original cornbeef hash is made with russet or gold potatoes and is a cheap canned breakfast meat filler product that I think is quite gross...but this tuned out well. I topped with an over-easy North West Nest's organic, cage free jumbo brown egg (best store bought eggs I can find). Not too shabby.

Hot Coconut Green Curry Soup
Brocoli and Spinach base soup. Simmered with chicken stock and creamy coconut milk. Seasoned with curry, bay leaf, kosher salt, organic white and black pepper corn and nutmeg. You can see I had to eat a few bites before I took the picture.
This is a good one
